It is my goal to provide high quality healthcare to the people of Oak Park, and the surrounding area, by offering chiropractic care, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, massage therapy, rehabilitative exercise, acupuncture, ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation, and nutritional supplements. I have been in practice for 20 years and have worked in both the suburbs and Chicago. With many years of experience and specialties in alternative therapies, I look forward to working with you to help accomplish your healthcare goals.Dr. Jill Dortch graduated from the National College of Chiropractic in 1995 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She later went to Los Angeles Chiropractic College where she finished their Rehabilitative Therapy Program between 1999 – 2003. Next, at the Upledger Institute, she completed Visceral Manipulation and Craniosacral I and II courses from 2003 – 2007.On your initial visit, Dr. Jill Dortch will sit down and discuss your medical history and what goals you would like to accomplish. A thorough examination and digital x-rays, if needed, will be performed on that day and reviewed with you on the same visit. Any necessary treatment will also be performed on that first visit. Together, you and the doctor can determine your specific needs, and how the different types of treatment offered in the clinic can help create a healthier you.Exercise is an important part of overall wellness. In order for the patient to get the best results from their chiropractic adjustments, it is vital they also utilize exercises to help strengthen and support the spine and extremities. Each patient will be given a series of stretches and exercises to compliment their treatment.Visceral manipulation is a technique that uses different movements in the abdominal region.
