Tot Spot in Chubbuck Of all the reports that I personally read from Chubbuck PD there are instances stating the childcare went under investigation twice for child neglect and abuse. These reports stated that the gate to the outside play area was open. Children have wandered to the main road, and someone driving by saw them. Not a worker from the day care. This scares me and I hope it doesn't take someone's child getting seriously injured for something to be done!! I was not surprised to learn that employees of this childcare facility are unprofessional. We had serious issues here! The owner also has a record of battery and disorderly conduct that you can look up on the Idaho State Repository web site. Serious emotional control issues have been displayed to various professionals on numerous occassions by the employees of this childcare. There are police reports stating that the Assistant Manager/ sister of the owner had difficulty restraining her actions on routine custody exchanges at the childcare with police officers present. She has punched boxes (there is a signed written statement from the owner admitting this behavior), screamed, and thrown inanimate objects where children were present. This lack of control in the presence of adults, officers, and children is disturbing.
