Are you kidding me???!!!! An A/C service provider who is actually honest? That's what I just experienced with Mel from ASAP Heating & Cooling. I was in a panic because I expected a huge bill and I didn't have much to spend but I needed air in this heat. I tried going to internet sites first to see if I could figure it out. I called a few local companies and they said they could come within a few hours but it would cost $90 just for a diagnostic not including repair and I'm always suspicious of HVAC repairmen anyway after some horror stories I have read and heard. After I couldn't find the problem he came out within an hour and fixed the issue and only charged me $69. I was shocked. I felt like I should give him more. He may not have a fancy truck or memorable
