I am James Wood, founder of BowlingAdvisor. I have been bowling since I was 15. Got some edge there. I am blessed with a gorgeous wife and 2 beautiful daughters. Bowling is something I have been doing for last 10 years. With that experience in my bag I have started operating a blog for the guidance of those who are new to bowling.

I signed up to this league with a couple of buddys of mine. We had been in other bowling leagues before but never had much fun. Better Off Bowling though definitely emphasized being social, meeting new people, and having a ton of fun!
I'm a pretty decent bowler, having grown up with grandparents that bowled regularly, and had a blast after being paired with other fun young people who ranged from great bowlers to hilariously bad bowlers. That's the thing though, it didn't matter! We all had a blast bowling, drinking, laughing and getting to know each other.
Plus, while I LOVE bowling, the after bowling scene might be my favorite part of the league. They have great drink specials(during bowling too.) and it's just a great way to meet a lot of awesome people while playing games, sharing some drinks and having fun.
With no real downsides and the cheapest league rate around, they’re hard to top.
