Dawson Family of Faith

Dawson is great! After moving for a new job, my family and I started looking for a church in Birmingham. We visited several local congregations of various denominations but decided to make Dawson our new church home.

A few things really stood out to us about Dawson. First, the youth ministry is great. My kids (son who's 8 and daughter who's 14) loved how they made worship both fun and fulfilling. Second, the pastor (Dr. Gary Fenton) was incredibly kind and gives amazing sermons each and every week.

We were a little intimidated by the size of the church (it's huge) but were amazed by how close knit the congregation is, i.e. it feels like a small church even though it's congregation is over 1,000.
