In Dec., 2015 My husband and I contracted with Vertex and its owners Tiffany Lauria and Salvatore Osnato to renovate our kitchen. At contract signing, we deposited $18,000.00 with a planned construction start of Arpril 4, 2016. Two weeks before construction was to begin, Salvatore came to us and announced that he would not be doing the job. We asked for our money back. Tiffany and Salvatore wanted us to swap out our deposit for the cabinets that were ordered. I called the called the cabinet company only to discover that they had not been paid. When we hired a lawyer, they closed shop. Walking away with our money.
