Wood Chess Boards

For anyone who takes the game of chess seriously, playing on a fold-up paper board is, well just wrong! Many, in fact, want to display their chessmen – and that requires a board worthy of your set. We build our chessboards out of solid wood, from which we cut appropriately sized squares and glue them in an array on a stable substrate, then wrap it with complementary wood, then finish with several coats of satin lacquer.
