This place is GREAT!! The food is authentic and tasty. The portions are HUGE and the prices are low. If I lived in NYC, I would probably go here once a week for lunch. Granted I would be 20 lbs heavier, but the food is so damn good…It’s worth it! Pretty damn good. 1001 Nights has nice ambiance, good service & on top of that the best Middle Eastern food in NYC!! Everything else I tried was great as well, 1001 Nights really rocks!!

I wanted to try 1001 Nights forever! It definitely met my expectations. Started with the Eggplant Napoleon and Grape Leaves. Eggplant was cooked really well. I loved the flavors of the dish. The Grape Leaves were amazing! It was my first time trying Grape Leaves lamb stuffing rather than the veggies stuffing and now I don't think I can go back to just the veggie kind. Had the Grilled Combination Platter for an entree. The lamb was the highlight. It was so tender and juicy. The beef was a bit tough and the chicken a bit too sour. The rice was delicious and everything was fresh. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It's casual but you wouldn't feel out of place if you dressed up. The staff is so friendly and helpful and you get a homey feeling when eating here. Loved my entire dining experience.

Could not pick out a more solid kebab stop than this - really authentic or my perception of it anyway with great hummus and pita bread too. Their kebabs are crispy, fillings delicious, and service very friendly and quick. Their wraps are big too, so for a standard price you get what could easily be two meals. Other dishes are also great I have heard dining companions compliment the food and if it's anything like what I've tried of this place, it would be delicious!

5 stars for amazing 1001 Nights Restaurant. My high school is around there and for years I've always seen this place, but never went in. Man, I had no idea what I was missing. Such a delicious Middle Eastern food I have ever had. Shah salad, khannum & soups everything....absolutely delicious. The chicken, lamb and sausage are all perfectly cooked and juicy. Go and try for yourself you will be very happy if you are a Middle Eastern fan or a person who loves to try new kind food.

The food is wonderful and a great overall value. Every experience here keeps bringing me back. The staff has always been great and personable and we never feel as if we are being rushed through our meal. Definitely try the lamb shish kebab and appetizers. Like Chuchvara, Khul noryn soup. No other Middle Eastern restaurant satisfied me as much as 1001 Nights Restaurant did. I highly recommend dining here.

Great service, delicious food and pretty decor! I've been here twice and left very satisfied each time. Samsa, Plov & khaysp, crispy eggplant swapped in a sandwich of hummus in a bed of spiced tomatoes. Brilliant! Bread basket is a fav, comes with two types of crispy chip/bread things and a thin pita wrap. Perfect for eating as is or for wrapping the above two dishes! If you're coming during weekends, reservations are a must! Food is of great portions, decent prices and the flavors really come alive!

1001 Nights Restaurant... Food is unbelievable and the prices are reasonable. The cook comes and greets you at the table and asks if you enjoy your food. The eggplant was amazing everything was just great. Also the decor made this place great to take a date... Try it!! Best place for belly dancing & Middle Eastern food NYC.

I normally like to experiment with food, and I'm glad I tried 1001 Nights Restaurant the food was so good. I have now been there twice and have not been disappointed. I ordered the chicken and lamb Tikka Kabbob. Both cut of meat where cut to perfection. I will be back this place is now my local favorite. Affordable, yummy food, attentive staff + good atmosphere. Bonus - super nice (and beautiful) belly dancer on weekend nights! I will go 1001 Nights Restaurant very soon.

1001 Nights Restaurant is very nice place with an excellent choice of Middle Eastern dishes. I had Lamb chops and Chuchvara they both were delicious. This restaurant is a must if you’re staying in NYC anytime. All of the staff is definitely aiming to please. I will certainly go there for another meal very soon.
