HOW 9ROUND PLANO’S CIRCUIT TRAINING WORKS…
ROUND 1 - You will begin warming up with the Jump Rope and on some days you will also use other equipment such as the Bosu Ball, Plyo-Box, or SPRI Step 360. Not only will you increase the muscle tone and strength in your abs, arms, legs and lower body, but you will also improve the quality of your overall cardio fitness.
ROUND 2 - You will use the TRX Suspension Trainer, developed by Navy SEALS, to increase your strength, balance, and core stability. You will also use Dumbbells, Kettlebells, Medicine Balls, and Slam Balls to help you tone and build lean muscle mass.
ROUND 3 – This is where the real FUN begins. You will partner up with a 9Round Plano trainer for one-on-one Focus Mitt Training. Besides being a blast, you will sharpen your boxing and kickboxing skills, build endurance, burn fat by working every muscle, and relieve stress.
ROUNDS 4, 5, 6 & 7 - You will use a variety of bags, such as the, Wrecking Ball Bag, Horizontal Bag, and Heavy Bags to practice your jabs, crosses, hooks, uppercuts, back kicks, front kicks, round kicks, and side kicks. The resistance you encounter from punching and kicking all of these bags at full force will tone muscles all over your body.
ROUND 8 - The speed bag adds some variety to your workout, and helps you stay focused and motivated. You will use the Speed Bag to improve your hand-eye coordination, hand speed, reflexes, and shoulder endurance.
ROUND 9 is dedicated to the core strength training and conditioning. On some days, you may perform body weight exercises only. And on other days, you will use Battle Ropes, Dumbbells, Kettlebells, Medicine Balls, Resistance Bands, Slam Balls, or Stability Balls to engage the muscles in your abdominals, back, glutes, hips, shoulders and spine. Without proper strength and conditioning of all your core muscles, you run the risk of unnecessary injuries. We want to help improve your coordination between these muscles to ensure they are working together to properly balance and stabilize your entire body.
