Alan A. “Scotty” Herd has had wide experience in the world of real estate transactions, spanning the industry categories such as office, hospitality, single family, retail, raw land and commercial and industrial space. He has handled 800 cases, including 150 trials and has been involved with more than 200 depositions. He represents plaintiffs and defendants, with 65 percent of his clients returning for his services. He is also called upon as an expert witness in real estate cases. He is past president of the Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors and a member of the American Society of Real Estate Counselors. He is also a 17-term director of the California Association of Realtors and has served as senior Real Estate Instructor at UCLA Extension.
