If you want a great place to get your car fixed AAMCO is the place to go. They have always done good work for us no matter what the problem was. They take the time to check out the problem first so that it gets fixed right the first time and also explain what's going on. They also have a sense of humor which is admirable. They are like friends that are also trained car experts. Good kind of friends to have!

I have to agree with that other review. I have never been treated with such sincere kindness at a car shop. They have saved me several times when I thought I needed major work done but they discovered I didn't. I apprecite how they don't jump to conclusions but instead check into the problem to find the cause. I could go on and on about how honest and professional they are but I think the other person already summed it up. Don't take my word for it, go and see for yourself.

AAMCO Transmissions in Fort Smith is gracious, kind and professional.

I was moving to Kentucky and my transmission broke down on Interstate 40. I called and they towed me in. I needed a place to stay while my truck was at the the shop. They took me to a motel and even found a coupon for me for the motel. Since I was moving I had a trailor hooked to my truck with my valuables in it, and they secured the trailor for me and even took my plants inside their shop and watered them for me to keep them alive. They even unpacked my suitcases for me and delivered them to my motel room. They kept me updated during the whole repair process and when it was finished, picked me up at my motel in my truck, loaded my valuables and plants for me, hooked up my trailor, gave me directions and sent me on my way. The nice man's name was Dave and I cannot express how graciously he bent over backwards to help me. If I could give Aamco in Fort Smith a 10 star rating I would.
