About us
Abraham Butler, MD, is a board-certified family physician caring for adolescents 16 years and older and adults. He earned his MD from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and completed Family Medicine residency at Ballad Health Hospitals. His clinical focus includes weight and metabolic health, diabetes, thyroid and other endocrine care, arthritis and musculoskeletal injuries, allergy/asthma, skins conditions, high blood pressure, cholesterol and comprehensive preventive care—including immunizations, age-appropriate screenings, and sports physicals. Special interests include obesity care, joint health, allergy management, and preventive care. Dr. Butler is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans. Outside the clinic, he enjoys travel and DIY projects in agriculture, cooking, and home improvement.
