Special Abilities of North Texas
About us
Special Abilities of North Texas is a registered 501(c)3 charitable nonprofit organization that operates training centers providing daily programs for children and adults with developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, and other special needs. These include Down syndrome, Cerebral palsy, Autism, Aspergers, Hearing, Visual and Speech impairments, quad and paraplegia, traumatic brain injury and others. Founded in 1993, our programs serve Denton, Tarrant and Dallas counties and surround areas though out the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Daily Independent Living Skills training in areas such as health, fitness, nutrition, education and academics, vocational training, community inclusion, arts, theater, music, and a variety of other therapy.
