Akhil Parashar, MD specializes in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, a very specialized field within cardiology which is used to diagnose and treat heart conditions that affect the electrical activity of the heart muscle, better known as cardiac arrhythmias.He received his medical degree from All-India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India. He completed his residency in internal medicine and clinical research fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, followed by a cardiology fellowship at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, Iowa.
