Alameda Counseling Associates is a well known family counsel facility located in Alameda, CA. We understand that life can hand you many challenges, even the things that are supposed to give you happiness can feel like a burden. We know it's hard to live that way, but change is possible and we can help you. Together we can explore how to get more satisfaction from your personal and professional relationships and how to increase your positive relationships. We can help you navigate issues of stress, trauma, parenting, anger, anxiety, depression, and relationship conflicts. We offer counseling sessions for individuals, couples, and various family issues.

Andie is the owner of the Alameda Counseling Associates and is a married mother of two and a step-mother who believes that therapy should be affordable, time-efficient, and practical. She desires to see individuals and families build and maintain healthy relationships that contribute to their well-being. Andie considers it a privilege to walk alongside people who are journeying towards hope and healing. In addition to being in a private practice, Andie has worked since 1992 with bay area individuals and families in various settings including neighborhood clinics, criminal justice venues, and group home milieus. She has also consulted for the United States Military on European bases around issues of children services.

Andie has a wide range of experience working with children, youth, and adults wrestling with issues including stress, anger, anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and abuse (emotional, verbal, sexual, and physical).
