Alexandra Flis
About us
Dr. Flis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Medical Director of the Craig H. Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital. She is board certified in Brain Injury Medicine and specializes in early mobility, ICU rehabilitation, and neurorehabilitation. She earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Colorado State University and completed her medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Flis went on to complete her internship and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Utah, where she joined the faculty in 2015 as the Inpatient PM&R Consult Director. In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Flis is a dedicated educator, teaching clinical skills as part of the Doctoring Faculty at the University of Utah School of Medicine. She also serves as Vice Chair of Clinical Operations for Rehabilitation Medicine, Inpatient Chief Value Officer, and President of the University of Utah Medical Board. With extensive experience in rehabilitation medicine, Dr. Flis is committed to advancing patient care, education, and clinical leadership in neurorehabilitation.
