Alexandria Alvarez, M.D., is a primary care physician at Baptist Health Primary Care. She specializes in lifestyle medicine, preventative health and longevity care. Dr. Alvarez earned her medical degree at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. She completed an internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. Dr. Alvarez’s patient care philosophy embraces a holistic approach of lifestyle medicine to prevent, treat and even reverse disease. She focuses on preventative care and promoting healthy behaviors such as a nutritional diet, physical activity, sleep and stress management to help her patients live longer and healthier lives. Dr. Alvarez is fluent in English and Spanish. When she is not treating patients, she enjoys rescuing animals and spending time with her family.
