About us
Dr. Alfonso Bello is a board-certified rheumatologist with additional certification in pain medicine. He specializes in the treatment of arthritis, osteoporosis, and inflammatory diseases, using advanced therapies including biologics, immunotherapy, and the latest chemotherapeutic agents. Dr. Bello takes a holistic approach, combining medication with physical and nutritional therapy to reduce pain and restore quality of life. He serves as director of rheumatologic research at IBJI, where he leads clinical trials of emerging treatments. A recognized expert in osteoarthritis, he lectures internationally and is a former commander in the U.S. Public Health Service.
