About us
My name is Dr Ataya, and I am an associate professor of medicine in the University of Florida Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine, director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Program and the HHT and Rare Lung Disease Program. I specialize in pulmonary disease, critical care medicine and internal medicine with clinical interest in pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH), hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT), lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM), pulmonary alveolar proteinosis (PAP) and other rare lung disorders. My training started at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), where I earned my medical degree.
