He has performed over 20,000 Mohs cases since opening his practice in Chevy Chase using the Mohs technique, a procedure considered the gold standard in treating skin cancers, including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma. Dr. Hendi has the distinction of being the only Mohs surgeon in the DC metropolitan area who treats melanoma with Mohs surgery.
