About us
The Aloha Vintage Base Ball Association brings 1886 base ball to life in Hawaiʻi, with authentic uniforms, handmade equipment, and a deep respect for the game’s early history. We honor Hawaiʻi’s legacy—from Cartwright Field to Japan’s first exposure to the sport in 1907—by creating a living history league for players and fans alike. Our events include spirited matches, fundraisers, and the annual Kalākaua Base Ball Carnival, all played under 19th-century rules. Whether you're joining the roster, cheering from the sidelines, or supporting as a sponsor, AVBBA invites you to step back in time and celebrate the origins of America’s pastime.
