This was the worst experience ever. I got my mother a gift card for Christmas they were doing publicity at the Rockaway mall and I decided to get the Feels Like Heaven package for my mother. We live in Dover and it’s a little far but we did not mind.
As soon as we got to this place the person at the front desk had an attitude, my mother did notice so did I. I was with my sister and niece waiting for my mother to get her massage, facial and hand massage. The manager/owner of this place Patricia was having an argument on the phone with some bank person and after she was done she told my sister my niece and I to leave because she had clients coming soon and to pick up my mother in an hour and a half or to go have some coffee somewhere (the weather was awful it was snowing and raining) We told her that the weather was bad its raining where are we suppose to go? She said it wasn’t her problem but she needed the place for other clients. I would understand if she came to us and told us in a nice way. We decided to go wait at the car but I was so offended that I decided to grab my mother and leave.
I walked in again and I asked her if I can talk to my mother she said “no she is getting a massage” I didn’t care and walked in and told my mother to get dress that we were leaving. My mom got dress and was very disappointed because as I said before she did notice her attitude. I requested my money back she said no to me that if I wanted my mom could come back alone or if I wanted store credit. I don’t want to make this longer. The girls that work for this woman were great I have no doubt that they do a great job but how can the owner of this place treat people this way and I am pretty sure that the lady massaging my mother knew about this persons attitude. Patricia (the owner) Yelled at me and my family... She didn’t want to give me the money back at all I spent a good 20 minutes fighting for my money back. I told her I wasn’t moving from the place till I got my 55 dollars back, so she started banging on the table with a stack of receipts and yelled “then give me your information now!” She kept telling me to hurry up writing, it was just a complete mess! I was so sad because I just wanted my mother to relax.
So she ended up giving me a refund and I left with my family very upset. But that's not all, the massager called me to tell me that Patricia had made a mistake and charged me an other $55 more instead of giving me a refund? The massager Gloria was so nice to come all away to Dover to give me a check from the gift card and now I am waiting for a refund to go through my account. This was a nightmare terrible terrible experience. Gloria was great she deserves a better boss and better place to work
