All of us at Alta-Wood Animal Hospital are committed to provide your pet with excellent, compassionate, quality care through routine preventive examinations, vaccinations, dental cleaning procedures, sophisticated and up to date diagnostic procedures, along with excellent client education.

Please note: We are only open alternating Saturdays. Please call our office to confirm. Also, we are open every other Thursday, with appointment scheduling and prescription refills on closed Thursdays, from 8:00 to 12:00 Noon.

Alta- Wood Animal Hospital offers full Veterinary Medical and Surgical services for dogs, cats and pet caged birds. We are fully equipped with state of the art surgical monitoring equipment, including E.K.G., Pulse oximetry, Endoscopy, Diagnostic X-ray , as well as in-house diagnostic laboratory, allowing for early detection and prompt treatment of our patients. We have specialized ICU cages for sick birds that require hospitalization.Additionally, we have an experienced groomer on site and offer grooming and boarding services on a daily basis. We are always ready to refer pets that require specialized treatments to board certified Veterinary specialists such as surgeons, internists, dermatologists and oncologists, for your pet's specific needs.
