Amato Law Group, PLLC was founded in 1995 by Alfred L. Amato and maintains its home office in Garden City, New York. The Firm has spent nearly 30 years focusing on a real estate-based practice, offering full-service support to clients facing a variety of property-based legal issues, including but not limited to, real estate development, land use, renewable energy, zoning, acquisitions/dispositions, environmental law, leasing, wireless telecommunication law, regulatory compliance, and commercial litigation. Amato Law Group, PLLC has represented, and currently represents, numerous renowned national and international utility and renewable energy companies, and telecommunications providers, in support of their efforts to provide electricity generated by offshore wind, solar power, commercial battery power and wireless communication services. The Firm has in-depth experience in navigating the critical issues that arise when advancing and implementing these projects, such as business formation and restructuring, site acquisition, leasing and easement rights, local municipal approvals, interconnection, transmission rights, regulatory approvals, tax mitigation options, community benefits and access to municipal rights of way. In connection therewith, the Firm performs title review work, drafts and negotiates complex leases, prepares zoning compliance analyses, prepares all necessary permitting applications and procures required approvals, performs all necessary transactional work, including acquisitions and securing of easement rights and franchise agreements, prepares host community agreements, conducts environmental reviews and performs all other additional commercial real estate work as needed.
