The American Chiorpractic Clinic has served the Westbank and Greater New Orleans region since 1987. We have a 'high-frequency' x-ray machine on-site and we develop your x-rays in minutes so that there is no long wait for results. With 2 Chiropractic Physicians on staff, we keep any waiting time to a minimum. Though MEDICAID does NOT pay for Chiropractic care in Louisiana, American Chiropractic Clinic is a preferred provider on almost ALL other health insurance plans, including Medicare and other '65' plans. For your convenience, we process and mail the billing for you. While we accept walk-ins, we recommend that you call ahead for an appointment and provide us with your health ins. info so that we can have your benefit information for you by the time you arrive. Remember, our office is open till 7:00pm nightly. While most patients present with Sprians/Strains or other aches and pains, if you were injured in an Auto Accident or Hurt on the Job, we will gladly accept you as a patient in our clinic. We generally wait until the conclusion of your care (settlement of your case) for payment from the insurance company or your attorney. If following an accident, you do not wish to use an attorney, we can file all your paperwork to the insurance carrier for you. Your initial visit generally includes an exam, and x-rays (if necessary) followed by therapy and chiropractic adjustments. For some patients the response is immediate and for others it may take a few visits. Our physicians provide personalized care of their patients on each visit.
