Amir Kashani
About us
Amir Kashani MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition and specializes in ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. His clinical interests and expertise are in inflammatory diseases of the intestinal tract that include inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease). Dr. Kashani is the co-director of the Department of Internal Medicine/ Division of Gastroenterology breath test program. Dr. Kashani received his medical degree from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences School of Medicine, and went on to complete his residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center. He completed his fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and an advanced 4th year Inflammatory Bowel Disease fellowship at Vanderbilt University.
