About us

I have been in the counseling profession for over 15 years. My conversational style creates a caring, non-judgmental, and authentic environment for my clients to share and begin to find the hope and healing they are seeking. My focus is on helping my clients work through trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions and other challenges. My experience in the helping profession has led me to many opportunities and a wide range of people all unique and beautiful. In pursuing my education I was naturally drawn toward the helping professions and received a Bachelor's in Social Work and later a Master's in Counseling Psychology. I have experience working with children, young adults, families, those in the foster care system, as well as those with special needs. I especially enjoy using EMDR and Brainspotting in my work with my clients, as well as being able to bring my faith background into a therapeutic relationship when desired by my client. ​ I am a wife and a mother of 3 teens, one of whom myself and my husband had the privilege of adopting and growing with through the process of building attachment and navigating special needs. ​
