About us
Dr Chen chose a career in medicine as a way to help others. Internal medicine was the natural fit because of the breadth and depth of medicine it encompasses, as well as the challenge that comes along with diagnosing the various health concerns of each individual patient. “Working in outpatient internal medicine allows me to get to know my patients and see them over time.” Dr Chen was a member of the inaugural medical school class at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine. He is excited to be back in the Kalamazoo community and serve patients where he grew up and went to medical school.
