The Animal Emergency & Pet Care Clinic of the High Country, PLLC is a facility specially equipped to handle the urgent care needs of pets on a 24-hour basis as well as providing routine health care services. Located in Boone, NC, this regional referral center serves pets and their owners in the North Carolina and Tennessee mountain communities. The clinic is staffed and equipped to handle any small animal emergency situation. Patients may also be transferred from regular hospitals to the emergency clinic for overnight observation if your veterinarian feels that supervision is necessary. Owner's whose pets are admitted by the emergency service are given the option of remaining hospitalized at our facility or trasferring to your regular veterinarian if further care is necessary. For those pet owners who are looking for a regular veterinarian to provide quality medical care, we also offer routine services during weekday hours from 8AM - 6PM. These procedures include vaccinations, spays, neuters, dental care and all other medical and surgical services as well as a full selection of heartworm preventatives and flea and tick control medications. Staff clinicians are affiliated with the American Veterinary Medical Association, the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association and the Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society.
