About us
Anisha Kumar, MD, received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. She completed her medical degree as well as her pediatrics residency training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, also in Jackson. She is board certified in pediatrics.
Dr. Kumar loves being an advocate for her patients. She is passionate about preventative care and bringing to light the importance of vaccinations. She is always sure to stress the importance of a healthy lifestyle with her patients, as she believes good growth and development depends on this. She enjoys being a part of the equation when it comes to a child’s health and well-being.
Dr. Kumar is married with two beautiful children and has a sweet shih tzu. She loves to spend time with her family/friends, travel, learn about other cultures, read and paint.
