Eric S. Harmelin, DPM, is board certified in foot surgery, practicing at Annapolis Foot and Ankle Center, which has locations in Annapolis, Stevensville, and Glen Burnie, Maryland. Dr. Harmelin grew up in South Florida. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami. He completed a three-year surgical residency at South Miami Hospital/Baptist Health Systems in South Miami, Florida, and began private practice in 2000 in Fort Lauderdale. Dr. Harmelin joined the team at Annapolis Foot and Ankle Center in 2010. Dr. Harmelin is a licensed podiatric surgeon in Maryland and is board-certified by The American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is also affiliated with the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association. He is on staff at Anne Arundel Medical Center and is part of the Wound Care Center in addition to being the Chief of Podiatry Service at the hospital. Dr. Harmelin is particularly interested in wound care/limb salvage and reconstructive surgery. In his spare time, he enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his family.
