Applegreen Electric, which is part of the Irish headquartered Applegreen Group, hosts and operates universal access Electric Vehicle (EV) charging bays in locations in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and the United States. Its multinational EV charging network provides more than 1 million fast charging sessions to its customers annually.
Applegreen Electric was established in 2021 as a subsidiary of Applegreen to focus exclusively on the delivery of EV charging infrastructure in Applegreen’s three main geographies. Applegreen, which was established in 1992, is one of the largest motorway plaza operators in Europe and the US, and also has an extensive forecourt business. Applegreen has more than 600 locations and employs more than 17,000 people. Applegreen Electric supports its customers on their transition to EV driving by providing a seamless charging experience, at plaza and forecourt locations alongside popular food and beverage brands and high-quality facilities.
