Taking the step to seek counseling is the most powerful thing that a person can do to better their lives. I believe that if a person is willing to get help, they are already on the road to recovery. Every client is unique and I work with my clients in order to figure out what method of treatment will work best for them and their situation. I have a passion for wellness and helping others reach their goals. I believe that the counselor and client relationship is one of the most important aspects of counseling. I strive to have a very trusting relationship with my clients and to make therapy a time for them to express whatever they may need. My goal as a therapist is to serve as a guide for my clients. I want to go on their journey with them and will be there for support whenever they need.

I have a background in many different areas of health. In addition to my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth, I am also a certified Yoga Instructor and a Certified Holistic Health Coach. I received my Health Coach certification from Integrative Nutrition in 2013. I believe that health is multidimensional and that in order for a person to be truly healthy, we must pay attention to the body, mind, and spirit. When working with clients, I aim to help them do this in order for them to reach their goals.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, practicing yoga, going to the gym, and trying new restaurants. I also enjoy cooking, baking, and spending time with my friends and family. As with everything else, life is about balance, having fun and doing the things you enjoy is essential to a happy life!
