Arkona Apartments in Magnolia / Queen Anne, Seattle use to be a home for many in the city, Aug. 2012 you will want to rent elsewhere.

You sign a fair rent for the six month lease then you will get a sixty day notice of $100 – over $200 so your rent matches all the new condos and apartments going up in the area. Problem is Arkona has 1950 electrical that cannot run a TV, desk top PC, and toaster at the same time. Your refrigerator will not work, the floors are not level, and the windows are eaten away by mold and constant wet. These windows offer zero protection from the extreme noise from 2 bars on one side, a major arterial on another and a 24 hour gas station that specializes in prostitutes, drugs, and parties in the back. You will listen to every conversation, song, gunning engines until 2am (for the bar side) and 3-4am on the west side. There is no pool or sauna, OK there is but they have not been open and working for over two years. This is the short list. Wish I could post the videos and photographs.
