About us

Ashley Dean, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides care for all ages. Dr. Dean has special interests in diabetes management, women’s health and geriatrics.

A native of Augusta, Georgia, Dr. Dean completed her undergraduate studies at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. She then completed her medical studies at Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, and moved back to the Southeast for residency training at Prisma Health/University of South Carolina School of Medicine Columbia. She strives to educate her patients about achieving a healthy lifestyle and enjoys partnering with them to tailor a treatment plan that best suits their needs.

In her free time, she enjoys exercising, reading, and relaxing with family and friends.
