About us
Atul Kumar, MD, MBA, is a professor at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville and chief of gastroenterology at UF Health Jacksonville. He is dual board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology with more than 20 years of distinguished experience. Honored for his research innovation, Dr Kumar has conducted clinical trials and pioneered the development of expert systems for gastrointestinal conditions. His clinical expertise focuses on ERCP and EUS, two endoscopic procedures used for the diagnosis and treatment of complex diseases of the liver, gallbladder, bile ducts and pancreas.
