What I look for in a therapist? Someone who will give me my money`s worth. Someone who will challenge me while simultaneously letting me know they care about me and are on my side. Someone who has the skill and compassion to help me navigate and make some sense of things when life slams me in the face. Someone who has dealt with trauma and pain enough in their own life that I don`t feel alone when I am in those places. Barbara Kinsey MFT has been that someone for me. I`d recommend him to anyone, whether looking for a therapist to help you through a rough patch, or to do long-term depth work with.
