Bashar Alzahabi, M.D., is a board-certified nephrologist with more than 25 years of experience treating patients with kidney disease in Effingham, Illinois. He is certified in both nephrology and internal medicine and is known for his patient-first approach and long-standing relationships with those in his care. Outside of medicine, Dr. Alzahabi enjoys hiking and traveling with his wife and their three children. He is a member of the American Society of Nephrology, Renal Physicians Association and Syrian American Medical Society.
