About us
BASIS Independent Brooklyn is a premier PreK-12 private school that provides students with the best possible start to their education. The new Lower School campus, opening fall 2021 in Downtown Brooklyn, offers a large dedicated learning space to meet the needs of Early Learning and Primary students (PreK-Grade 2) as they engage in Mandarin, STEM, literacy, art, and more. These years feature a well-rounded, advanced curriculum that encourages inquiry, creativity, and independent thinking from day one, as well as a unique two-teacher model designed to facilitate accelerated learning and support.
