About us
Benjamin Asher Bograd, D.O., is a board-certified general surgeon at Southeast Georgia Physician Associates-General Surgery in St. Marys, Georgia. He provides a variety of surgical services, including appendectomy; biopsy; colorectal, gallbladder, gastroenterological and general surgery; hernia repair and more. During his undergraduate and graduate school years, Dr Bograd discovered his passion for the health care industry through nutrition and exercise science, but as his education continued, his interests rapidly turned clinical. He pursued his medical degree at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia and dove into medicine to make a larger impact on his patients' health as a physician.
