About Dr. Cohen Benjamin R. Cohen, M.D., F.A.A.N.S., F.A.C.S. is a board certified neurosurgeon specializing in spinal surgery. His practice includes revision spine surgery, adult scoliosis, and the treatment of spinal tumors and infection. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Dr. Cohen received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Temple University. He received his medical degree from The Chicago Medical School, where he was honored as the McGraw Hill Book Company “Outstanding Student;” Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society, junior selection; John J. Sheinin Research Award, and Broad of Trustees Scholarship Award.
