Folks: Steer clear of Pru-Fox realtors. Two of them from Pru-Fox's nearby Margate, NJ office-- Mark Arbeit and Lou Solomon-- teamed up with a convicted criminal mortgage broker to unload on me the broker's house over a leaking underground oil tank. These three Real Estate Professionals thought it was a laugh riot. They yukked it up, and high-fived it all around; they point to me as proof that they're so smart and slick they can unload even a toxic waste dump. OK. You want some real yuks? Consider the following.
First, read in The Washington post archives for June 20, 25 and 26, 1987 about how and why this Arbeit fellow was bounced from his position as an assistant elementary school principal down in Virginia. Good grief! Doesn't Pru-Fox do anything to vet its realtors? How can it turn this guy loose on unsuspecting buyers and sellers, and how many more like him does Pru-Fox have lurking around its offices?
Second, just take a gander at Solomon: The guy's just as slippery as he looks. Everything about him is bogus-- the smile; the laid-back surfer dude persona; the tan; the expertise. This guy knew my wife's real surfer dude sons for 15+ years and still stuck it to us with a smile. Imagine what he does to buyers and sellers he doesn't know!
Third, how 'bout these guys' mortgage broker pal? He struts through town telling people he's a casino high-roller and a real ladies' man. High-roller? Uh, not really. In fact, he's banned from all of Atlantic City's casinos. Ladies' man? Well, you decide: He was busted in a Catch a Predator-type sting by a Florida sheriff's deputy who posed on-line as a 14-year old girl! Que hombre, huh?
Look-- do you really want to tangle up your real estate dealings with these types? If not, then you'll steer clear of Pru-Fox!!!!
