About us
For the past six years Berlinda Abed, “Lindy” served as a clinical dietitian here in SW Florida. In that role she taught appropriate diet education to patients and provided ongoing nutritional counseling to patients with chronic disease to allow for optimal outcomes.
In 2018 Lindy was recruited by Core Health Partners to assist in the design of a new and innovative Diabetes Self-Management and Education Program (DSME). Lindy represented CHP in an alliance of experts to create a unique program that would meet the standards of the American Diabetes Association and be approved for payment through most insurance providers. Her role shaped a new innovative program from the nutritional counseling oversight and an effective exercise angle.
