Bernice Gyamfi is a boarded certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner and founder of Ohana Mental Health. With over 9 years of experience in the field, Bernice has worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, private practices, and community settings. Her experience spans across treating a wide range of mental health conditions, from anxiety and depression to more complex disorders like bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
She believes in a holistic approach to mental health care, considering the physical, emotional, and social aspects of well-being. Her approach to care is one that is strengths-based, culturally sensitive, person-centered, holistic, trauma-informed, and collaborative.
