Xtreme Fitness in Edison is Firing good active energetic trainers, cancelling classes left and right. Cafe still not open regular hours. TV's and equipment just don't work. No wonder why no one joins. Use caution if thinking about joining.

Horrible. Just pull a member aside whose been there a while and ask about the management.

First of all, this club never has classes in session because of the lack of attendees. They cancel classes last minute all the time.

Second of all, the initial membership deposit is more expensive than LA Fitness and LA Fitness has a pool, raquet ball courts, and a great atmosphere.
Xtreme Fitness always feels like a boring lame office meeting. Everyone I see there looks like the walking dead.

Thirdly, the mats you use for stretching and crunches stink like B.O. They look rotted and torn.
The staff changes every month. The employees start off looking happy and bubbly but then the negative energy in the place begins to take a toll. STAY AWAY!

LASTLY, the management is money hungry and unreasonable.
The club charged me a yearly maintenance fee on the day of my cancellation because the yearly maintenance charge falls on a day during my last 60 days of membership. (When you cancel you still have to pay for 60 days of membership under the contract terms)

Can you believe that?! I'm supposed to pay for a year's maintenance fee for upkeep of the equipment that I won't be any where near or using because
technically you're still a member during that two month period.
THIS IS CRAZY BAD BUSINESS! WHAT A FREAKIN' RIP OFF !!! PLEASE GO TO ANY OTHER GYM BUT THIS ONE!!!! They have hidden fees in their contract.

I guarantee you will stop going eventually and leave the place thinking WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY..
