The woman in charge of the Merismos Ministries-Bethany Home is appalling. I purchased an item for my grandson from their yard sale.Since my hands were full I handed a nice young lady my money and proceeded to put my grandson in his carseat.As I was walking over to get my change a woman approached my sayingDon't you know better to give these girls cash money?These girls are in recovery.I was appalled.Having run a women's group home,I know from experience this is NOT the way you treat these young women- much less the customers who provide money,clothes,donations, etc. that keep their home running.I then asked the woman who was in charge. She said ME. I said I wanted to talk to the person Running the community. Her reply Then get down on you Knees and start talkin'
Need I say more?Who does she think she is?And does my business want to continue to support an organization of this nature- NO WAY. It is very Unfortunate that the young women and children must suffer at the hands of this angry woman. I speak from experience. Those women will not learn life skills and tools to conquer recovery as long as a negative hateful person has them in the palm of her hand. Actions speak louder than words. If you don't believe this statement then make a call to the Bethany home. Ask to speak to the person in charge. If she answers (& she will) she will quickly reply Who are you? I'm in charge, and what do you want?
and you will hear the rude hateful tone in her voice. This is truly sad for a home of such values
