A friend of mine told me about a great bbq restaurant that is a little of the beaten path but well worth the drive. I must say that I had the best and most tender ribs that I have tasted since I left Texas thirty years ago. They had a slow smoked hot wing that is deep fried when you order them which gives them a slight smokey flavor with your traditional wing flavors. My wife had there specialty which was the Texas style beef brisket that just melted in your mouth the way it should. I got a Carolina style pork sandwich for my son and took it home and he said it was just like being back in Carolina where he went to college. Are family loved this restaurant and we will be using them for our 40th wedding anniversary to cater this summer. We hope this help any fellow traveler looking for some great bbq
