About Boston Comprehensive Treatment Center in Boston, MA Located in Boston, Massachusetts, Boston Comprehensive Treatment Center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to adults of all genders age 18 and older who have developed opioid use disorder, the clinical term for opioid addiction. Although most people expect a methadone clinic to provide only one medication, our Boston clinic offers both methadone and Suboxone to help patients lessen the cravings and pain associated with opioid withdrawal. Patients who take a medication such as methadone as part of MAT can typically have an easier time stopping their opioid use without experiencing negative effects.
