Bottle Master Ron Busselen is a professional, commercial photographer serving the Greater Sacramento Area. He specializes in distinctive wine bottle photography for independent, local California wineries.

While in high school in Napa, later in the Navy, and over the years in Sacramento, Ron has photographed celebrities and politicians like Richard Nixon, Elvis Presley, Ted Kennedy, Earl Warren, Arnold Palmer, John Wayne and Astronaut Gordon Cooper. But product illustrations like wine bottles are his forte.

Ron is known for his unique and imaginative use of lighting to create dimension and depth to his images, particularly in his food shots. His food images and wine shots take on a three-dimensional quality that allows tone, texture and shadow to blend in a richness of color and illumination. Grabbing the eye’s attention has become Ron’s design trademark.

His food images have been used in advertisements, packaging, web sites, blogs, magazines and specialty publications. He also photographs people, jewelry, furniture, fine works of art and anything else a client might need.
