This technology has been around for close to 15 years. Lee Gerdes the founder of the technology we use suffered from traumatic brain injury after he encountered 4 young men with a baseball bat. He, like so many tried everything to get relief from the pain he was in. Prior to his brain injury Gerdes had a diverse educational background in math, physics, psychology, and theology. His desire to help himself led to the innovation that today has become known as Brainwave Optimization. Brainwave Optimization started off and was originally called Brain Training. However over the years the terminology has changed to reflect a more accurate description. This terminology was changed because our clients do not have to put any physical or mental energy into training their brain. It has taken years to build this technology to what it is today. In the beginning Brainwave Optimization was extremely expensive, however as with any new technology the expense has drastically decreased.
